140 Main News: Art Spaces Evicted from Shanghai’s West Bund

Shanghai’s leading destination for art galleries and private museums for the last decade, the West Bund Cultural Corridor has displaced more than eight adjacent art spaces with its large-scale redevelopment initiatives. These exits follow the earlier departures of the Yuz Museum and the Shanghai Center of Photography from the area around Longteng Avenue, signaling a shift in the cultural landscape of the once vibrant art district.
