Art Fair Report: New Hotspots

As pandemic restrictions gradually eased in the Asia-Pacific region, many cities embraced the full return of physical fairs. In Jakarta and Sydney, sales floors were even livelier than pre-pandemic times, with crowds keen to buy and see artworks in person. Frieze Seoul—perhaps the most anticipated art fair in Asia this year—attracted overseas buyers and launched a new art season in the Korean capital, the latest hotspot in the region.
